Could you post the Item Number of the combo?
I'd like to get the 2200 as well, but I'm not sure how my local Fry's employees would find the combo.
Heh, do these ECS boards not allow you to reduce the multiplier at all? Gross...Originally posted by: htne
I can think of one reason why you might prefer the E2180 to the E2200 cpu. If you are going to use the BSEL mod to up the FSB to 266 (about the only way to overclock on this motherboard), your chances of success are probably much greater with the E2180.
E2180, 10 x 200 = 2000 mhz. BSEL mod, 10 x 266 = 2660 mhz.
E2200, 11 x 200 = 2200 mhz. BSEL mod, 11 x 266 = 2926 mhz.
The odds of running 2660 mhz at stock voltage are much better than the odds of running 2926 mhz at stock voltage.
