I am just getting started with the E4300 on the 965P-DS3. Antec 900 case with all the fans on their slowest settings and only up to 300 x 9 so far. Prime95 temps are in the low 30s, which makes me suspect the quality of the sensor.
I have the latest BIOS, and I am not yer far enough along to know if the BIOS is messed up, or not. It seems that after I stress test, or do much of anything at all, that once I shut down or reboot, the next time around it refuses to boot at all... it just shows me a black screen with no POST info at all.
What is weird is that I do not have to clear CMOS or anything, just power down with the power switch, wait a while, and then boot again. Doing this, however, partially undoes my OC settings. I have to switch back from AUTO to MANUAL and the rest of the settings reset on their own.
This looks to me to be a BIOS problem, but this build is so new, and I am so used to the DFI mobo BIOSes, that I just might be missing something basic here.
