This is good enough for games. You just need a really good graphic card these days. I got a 3500+ with a 850xt and it works great with oblivion

Um, if you buy retail boxed CPU you just check if the factory seal is intact.

I'll tell you how. Go to intel's site here, and look at the retailers they list. I buy from ZZF or Newegg or one of those places, I'm guaranteed that it's a new part I'm paying for. It would be EXTREMELY easy to tell if the processor was a return or used. You'd have to break two seals on the retail package to get to your processor, and if it was used after it was opened, there would be residue on the IHS.

I ordered the e6300 last night, they sent me several emails to keep me updated on my order status. They sent me a tracking number this morning and an email telling me what time ups picked up the package. So they look great so far.

I dont understand why people are scared of buying a retail box cpu from here. If they dont send it, just call your credit card company and dispute the charge. THe credit card company will take the charge off and you dont lose any money.

I just received my E6300 in the mail. It is unopened with all seals unbroken. The batch # is L627A602. Still waiting for the motherboard, should be here tomorrow.

Edit: seems they got some E6600's in for $335

That was my thinking also when I bit. Of course I also have an AmExp Blue which is reknown for online fraud prevention.

Well I went for it and ordered last night. Got several emails including a shipping notification today. It also shipped from CA, which was a pleasant surprise (I thought it would be coming from the East Coast).

I'm still curious as to how they're able to sell the Conroe's for that much less than any of the other sites, but I'll post an update when it arrives (hopefully by Friday).
