Looking for a board that supports my 6300 so I can OC a fair amount(but I'd like to have all the Bios options for OC). Now I have a great soundcard(x-fi), 2 sticks of DDR2 800 512, a x1950 pro( that doesn't like to OC) and a few older IDE drives and DVD-roms(planing on getting SATA2 drives after the new year so SATA2 raid is needed). I would like to have Crossfire support but its not a deal killer if the motherboard has promise. Firewire support isn't needed but included a bonus. I leaped to fast and bought an ABIT IL-9 PRO, read too many reviews and messed up getting a board that isn't what I needed. Its stable, layout is nice, alot of feature for $85, but no OC options at ALL, yet. Board just came out, abit might update bios, might not, not going to wait. Will use this board witha cheaper intel cpu and leftover hardware as a folding machine/network server.
Any ideas? Intel 775x sounds good, whats the best chipset for me, I'm a 39 year old gamer, alot of video encoding. My brain is going to bust trying to weed thru whats available. Enough rambling.
Thanks,
Mike
