I've tried setting it to 100MHz from BIOS, but in Windows when I look at my FSB ratings with CPUID Clock Gen it says it's 80MHz. If I put 105MHz from BIOS then Clock Gen will say it's 85MHz. Which one should I believe?

4 hours? ROFL

Around here 24 hours is considered stable.

Yes I know that but as it stands I am still tweaking and have not had a 24 hour window to dedicate.

Once I get everything nailed down and can let it alone for 24+ hours I will.

I have been stable at 500MHz FSB (3.5GHz) running 100+ hours straight Dvix transcoding, so I think I can do 24+ hours dual prime standing on my head.

I would definatly believe what is set in your BIOS. Whats strange is that you are using a 975 chipset board and not a 965. The reason I say that is strange is the mis-reading with clockgen could easily be explained with the 965 chipset board (since it is a new chipset) but the 975 is a well established chipset that most of these programs work well with.

Eitherway always believe what your BIOS says over any 3rd party application.

Also make sure you add a bit mor voltage to your MCH when going over 400MHz. Make sure your northbridge is not getting too hot. I have heard (in these forums) people reducing their northbridge temps as much as 5c by simply removing the metal ASUS plate on the heatsinks. Apparently these plates cover the fins making it difficult for the hot air to escape.
