Load temps when running Orthos or Nuclear are like 58C. I know that's within a ok range, but does it seem a little high to anyone? Do you guys think I should clean off the hsf and cpu and reapply my artic silver ceramique? Also the fan on the Scythe barely fits with my ram in the slots anyone else have this problem?
Those are great temp...I am on water and I don't get that kind of temp at 3.6ghz with 1.56v! I just don't trust CoreTemp for some reason. I load up CoreTemp, SpeenFan, Intel TAT, and nvMonitor and they all show different temp. I just don't know what to trust. CoreTemp shows the lowest temp and nvMonitor show the highest temp. This is while idling. Load, however, they all come pretty close to each other, but nvMonitor still shows a couple degrees higher.
I am at 3.4ghz and 1.3125v and my idle temp in CoreTemp is about 28°c and load is in the low 40°c. nvMonitor shows it idling around 34°. This is under Vista.
So for me, I just add 5-6°c to CoreTemp just to be on the safe side.
At 3.6ghz, I have to put in 1.525v it to be stable. Even under water, I don't feel 200mhz is worth the temp and juice. Just a little something for you to think about.
