Antec P180B Case

First of all, if you're about to buy a new system do not get my combination of power supply and case, if you do, you will want to shoot yourself. Either is perfectly good though just not in combinaiton with each other.
Ok so, first of all, cabling is nightmare in this sucker, which could very well be part of the problem. I have cables touching the sound card (there was just no way to avoid it) and the graphics card (once more no way to avoid it). I want to make sure this won't kill anything
Second, I was reading nearly 80 degrees celcius in my BIOS, now I'm reading in the mid 40's. I had to remount the damn heatsink like 4 times to do this, I decided that I hate this heatsink. However it is slowly creeping up and that concerns me. First it was reading 41-42, then 42-43, then 43-44, now its reading 44-45, and all its doing is measuring its own temperature. I don't imagine this is a good sign.
Other problems: Im not sure if this is a problem, but the flash screen for my motherboard is on there for like, a fraction of a second, which barely gives me enough time to get into my bios. Also, an odd problem Im having is it sounds like another fan that doesn't exist is turning on in my computer when I first turn it on, which eventually turns off, but until it turns off, I get no video. I've never had this problem before and it also has me concerned.
