My system is as follows:
-Intel E6600
-2gb G SKill RAM 4-4-4-12 timing (passed 8 hours of memtest)
-250gb Seagate HD
-Gigabyte 965P-DS3 (F7 BIOS)
-Hipro 600watt PS
Everyone once awhile if i exit a game or do some DVD ripping or something one of the cores will sit at 40% system resources. I check Task Manager but idle processes shows 99%. Any programs that are open seem to work fine, but I cant open any other programs and it will not restart or shut down, it starts to but never makes it all the way. Is it something to do with Windows maybe? I have all the recent updates and I am running Media Center Edition (but this also happened when I tried Professional). Any help would be appreciated.
