Transcend value ram (yeah I know) 2 x 1GB DDR2 800 (stock timings 5-5-5-18)
what is an untima 90?
intel doesn't have memory multipliers, just memory dividers. Run it at 1:1 and see if it will be stable. You might have to end up relaxing timings a bit and/or upping ddr voltage to run it at 450 like that.Originally posted by: Morgales
Ok guys this is my full system spec:
E6750 @ 3.6
MSI P6N SLI V2
Asus 8800 GTS 320MB (680/1010)
Transcend value ram (yeah I know) 2 x 1GB DDR2 800 (stock timings 5-5-5-18)
Antec P900 with stock coolers.
3DMARK06 running multiple times scores around 10900, able to play games for XX ammount of time. Orthos CPU stress test runs flawless for 2 hours. BUT I cannot pass the blend test because I don't understand what divider and memory voltage I have to use with 450 FBS and DDR2 800 memory.
I didn't bother changing the ram (currentely set to a 9:8 divider) because my system runs great for what i'm using it.
Btw, my load temperature goes up to 63C and stays there with the cpu stress test, Idle temp is still around 36 to 38C.
any help please?

oh, yeah, that new one that they previewed on AT the other day. I think that it's a nice looking cooler, but why would you spend 40 for a cooler, 10-20 for a fan, plus shipping on both to get the same performance (at best) of a tuniq that runs 45-55 total to your front door?

Well it's smaller and lighter and yet gives the same performance
but my wallet will probably win out and I might just get the tuniq
question about the tuniq, the fan is encased inside?
Can it be changed?
You really need to wait for penryn with that great e6750 chip you have. You will be very disappointed if you go from 3.85 to 3.45 even with 2 extra cores.
