I switched from a C0 to an E0 8400 (only had the C0 for a week). The C0 required like 1.4V to do 3.8GHz, which is outside my comfort zone for air cooling. The E0 does 4 GHz at <1.25V, and I've had it at 4.2 GHz, while staying below the Intel spec of 1.36V.
So in the case of someone like me that will just set a conservative voltage limit, and raise the FSB until the processor is no longer stable, an E0 can potentially overclock twice as much (1200 MHz on the E0 versus 600 MHz on the C0 when I set the voltage at 1.36). If you are willing to go nuts on voltage (due to excellent cooling or because you like to watch expensive things burn), then your 'Max' OC is probably only a couple hundred MHz higher with the E0.
Again, just my experience, so take it with a grain of salt.
