EA fvcks up Battlefield 2 with patch

I just loaded the 1.3 patch up, and now whenever I try to join HBD 24/7 Ghost Town I just get a crash to desktop. Fvck you EA

This is irritating, now the server browser is toast. Pings list as like 649024723, all the other switches for servers like friendly fire show up as 0, wtf?

Yeah they seemed to hose it pretty good. As someone else said, whenever you click a server in the still horrible browser, it brings you to a different one. So I tried randomly clicking around hoping for a good one but they were mostly empty or maybe just not getting the info correctly/refreshed, but then I remembered Favorites (didn't seem have that problem, though there was only 4 servers in that list) so I got in on a nice Warlord game.

This patches' changes don't really matter to me... wish they would fix other things though.

Alright, what the HELL, this time, when it crashed it gave me this which wouldn't go away until I employed a weird combination of changing my screen resolution many times and a couple of WinKey+Ls in order to try and get the thing to refresh. Jeez, they really borked it.

that said, I am glad that I never had to deal woith the buyers remorse of buying the expansion packs...

maybe I'll buy them when they get cheaper...I hear good thigns but not GREAT thigns about them so I cam still not compelled to buy them

I havent played in about 3 months. I cant even get the damn thing installed anymore. Theres seriously somemthing fvcked up.

I downloaded the patch, hoping it will work, it doesnt, no big surprise.

I had sporatic issues with whichever the last one was, but it's not too bad now.

Battlefield 2 sucked from the beginning, awesome concept but horrible execution.

Agree. I still do love the game though,. I have to look past the glitches and try to enjoy myself when it works right. I do love the gameplay
