I usually don't side with the Linux and other anti-Microsoft fanboys that do childish things such as "Micro$oft", but AUTORUN is just the most absurd and ridiculous thing I've heard of in my entire life. Stupid people trying to cater to other stupid people who can't figure out to double click a goddamn .exe when they insert a CD.

I find Autorun to be an incredibly convenient feature 9 times out of 10. It's unfortunate that companies take useful features and exploit/ruin them so that they become meaningless.

You can't rip SACD at all. But if it's dual layer and the CD layer is not copy-protected then the CD data is rippable. Even if you could rip SACD (get the unencrypted data) you'd get a few GB of data that no computer can yet play or no program can compress (at least not yet).



BTW, I have the SACD and I don't think the CD layer is copy protected.
