Heads-up: i suggest checking out the reviews prior to ordering, as some of them specifically contain claims of issues with rebates.

I was dumb enough to bite on the 95.00 rebate at Mwave.com in Sept. I filled everything out carefully and had it postmarked in plenty of time and when I try to track it on their site, it says my request has not been received. I guess I'm in for a fight.

Thanks for the post. This looks good as an emergency backup, but I would never rely on a PSU with these kind of reviews. Hope everyone gets their rebates!

My info just showed up on Eagle's website. I sent it in at the end of Sept. It shows my status as "approved" and shows my check number. I guess I didn't get "pimped" after all.

I would say that this is louder than most powersupplies out there.

Good news! I got my $95 rebate check yesterday. The print date on the check was Dec 21 and I just got it.

Yeah what I love is:

- Almost all rebates say invalid if your address is a PO Box, yet on EVER ONE of them you have to SEND to a PO Box.

- Most take 12-14 weeks to get you your rebate, if it comes at all, then you have 90 days max to cash it. (I always cash same day they come)

- I once had a rebate rejected because I didn't circle the price, even though it was the only item on the order. NewEgg made it good for me.

That said, I document and track my rebates very carefully and have not been screwed on one for years. Last one that *almost* got me was a $10 NewEgg purchased SOYO motherboard. Took a little over a year to get it. That cemented that I would NEVER buy another SOYO product again, ever. SOYO's loss was ECS's and Gigabytes gain.

Personally I miss the rebates handled by OnRebates. I could pay a 10% vig and get it back very quickly. I used that feature quite a lot and while they never came close to the stated turn time, they were very fast.
