Who will cover TO? I repeat, who will cover TO? Shtsburgh is #9 in Pass D, with Philly dismantling #6, 7 and 8 (Carolina, Baltimore, and Chicago) Pass D's. How are the Stillers any different? Who will be the chump this week vs the best receiver in the NFL? :
Ricardo Colclough CB
29 Chidi Iwuoma CB
30 Chad Scott CB
24 Ike Taylor CB
26 Deshea Townsend CB
27 Willie Williams CB
and last but not least, are any of the above names better than Chris McAllister on the Ravens?

TO is going to be covered by Mcnabb getting sacked 5 times... And by the fact that the steelers are going to dominate time of possession. Yes TO will score... maybe even twice... but that won't be enough.
Steelers will win... 24-17

You're right, TO is 6-3 and 235 lbs (listed at 226 official but he's stronger this year).Originally posted by: murphy55d
Carolina, Baltimore, and Chicago have no offense either. 15 points might beat the hapless Ravens offense, but it won't be enough to beat the Steelers offense. Pittsburgh does not have a CB who matches up well with Owens, but the Eagles do not have enough CBs to match up with Ward, Burress, AND Randle El.
Should be a good game.

Don't forget this is the team that just knocked off the Patriots. Granted the Pat's were minus Ty Law and Corey Dillon, the Steelers didn't just beat them, they stomped them good. Roethlisburger is showing poise and maturity many vets don't even have...imagine the pressure of being a rookie, being on a 5-0 run, and facing a team on a 21 game winning streak. In my opinion, Duce Staley is STILL better than Westbrook(who may not even play), plus do the Eagles have a big, bruising guy to power his way for short yardage like the Bus? I think not.
No, the Steelers do not have any WR that matches TO, however, I'd take their trio in a heartbeat. Ward and Burress are about as good a duo as you'll find in this league.
No, they don't have a CB that can handle TO and man-man coverage. So double cover him, and rely in the rest of their defense being solid(as it is) to make up for it.
I'd also like to point out that the Eagles biggest games this year have come at home(see Vikings, Ravens). This is arguably their toughest test(you could argue for the Vikings, but the AFC is 10x better than the NFC), and its taking place on the opponents turf.
Next week: loss to the Steelers
Week after: horrible, crushing, embarassing defeat to the Cowboys
You fvcking idiot, they didn't just "beat a team with a winning record", they beat the New England Patriots.I think it's great and everything that the steelers are excited over their first victory against a team with a winning record this year, but they will not win next week. Even with westbrook out. The steelers are a fraud.
You know, hard as it may be at admit for you, and biased as I may be, I know football better than most people I know. You, on the other hand, show the typical Philly lack of knowledge. That's fine with me though, you're the ignorant one, not me.well, the next 2 victories are guaranteed now. thanks deeko. just make sure you pick against us throughout the playoffs this year.
I predicted the Steelers and Rams road games would be the toughest of the year, so yes anything's possible. If Westbrook is still out it probably gives the edge to the Steelers with home field and the fact they have Duce and Bus (their starters) available.Originally posted by: Deeko

In open field tackling, yes. TO can bowl over anyone under 200 lbs in the open field/think stiff arm. With regards to height, TO at 6-3 has a ridiculous advantage over the guys you just listed, 9 times out of 10 any jump ball will be hauled down by TO or Randy Moss at 6-3 and 6-4 if placed in a decent spot. Why do you think the 5-8 guys on Pittsburgh's roster aren't starters? lolOriginally posted by: Deeko
Is weight what makes the CB? I hope you don't think so.
Champ Bailey - 6'0", 192
Chris McCallister - 6'1", 206
Ty Law - 5'11", 199
Fred Smoot - 5'11", 174
Ronde Barber - 5'10", 184
