Ricardo Colclough CB
29 Chidi Iwuoma CB
30 Chad Scott CB
24 Ike Taylor CB
26 Deshea Townsend CB
27 Willie Williams CB

and last but not least, are any of the above names better than Chris McAllister on the Ravens?

Oh come the fvck on...you know very well that those pass d rankings mean sh!t. Carolina shouldn't be in the top 15 in pass D. Gamble and manning? Ooo..the are quite a pair of lockdown corners. Trying to say that they will be burnt since their pass D isn't ranked high "enough" means nothing.

Carolina, Baltimore, and Chicago have no offense either. 15 points might beat the hapless Ravens offense, but it won't be enough to beat the Steelers offense. Pittsburgh does not have a CB who matches up well with Owens, but the Eagles do not have enough CBs to match up with Ward, Burress, AND Randle El.

Should be a good game.
You're right, TO is 6-3 and 235 lbs (listed at 226 official but he's stronger this year).

Look at the size matchup problems the Steelers will have with this:

21 Ricardo Colclough CB 22 5-11 186 R Tusculum
29 Chidi Iwuoma CB 26 5-8 184 4 California
30 Chad Scott CB 30 6-1 202 8 Maryland OUT FOR YEAR
24 Ike Taylor CB 24 6-1 191 2 Louisiana-Lafayette
26 Deshea Townsend CB 29 5-10 190 7 Alabama STARTER, BEST CB
27 Willie Williams CB 33 5-9 194 12 Western Carolina Starter
23 Tyrone Carter S 28 5-8 190 5 Minnesota
28 Chris Hope S 24 5-11 206 3 Florida State Starter?
43 Troy Polamalu S 23 5-10 212 2 USC
33 Russell Stuvaints S 24 6-0 202 2 Youngstown State Starter?

Like Max said, the LB and DL for Pittsburgh better get pressure early and often vs McNabb or he's going to have a field day with the TO mismatch.

Also, you seem to forget that Philly's pass D handled Randy Moss in single coverage

Jesus christ..and just how many CBs are 6'3" anyway? IF size was the main factor in cornerbacks, most who are in the nfl right now, WOULDNT be in the NFL.

In open field tackling, yes. TO can bowl over anyone under 200 lbs in the open field/think stiff arm. With regards to height, TO at 6-3 has a ridiculous advantage over the guys you just listed, 9 times out of 10 any jump ball will be hauled down by TO or Randy Moss at 6-3 and 6-4 if placed in a decent spot. Why do you think the 5-8 guys on Pittsburgh's roster aren't starters? lol

Sure he might be able to bowl then over, provided he isn't tackled upon the reception..which should most often be the case.

i think the steelers coaching staff will find a way to deal with TO. if the def can execute, mcnabb has no one else and it'll be a steelers mauling. the steelers have a very physical running game and philly's def isn't very good and stopping a physical ground attack. as already mentions, steelers will take TO away from mcnabb, pound the ball on the ground, and control the clock. plus, since i'm rooting for the steelers... they will win

that IMO is the key to victory for the steelers they need their running game to be at its best

eagles have an excellent secondary and pass rusher if they can stop the run it is all over for the steelers if they can't than it is going to be a very tight game

they are still going to need a lot of big plays from Big Ben as well

this game is probably going to be the most exciting yet
though I am confident that the Eagles will win

go Eagles!

The Ravens couldn't tackle TO upon reception when it counted.

So far, the Steelers are dismantling the Eagles.

Looked like the Iggles were getting back on track with TO and then in one fell swoop, the Eagles bandwagon hit a pothole.

If they can come back, for them, but that pick is gonna hurt. They just haven't been taking advantage of the Steelers' mistakes (like Big Ben's pick and the missed field goal).

McNabb seems to have a new friend in James Farrior. He kees giving him gifts and inviting him over for tea.

However, TO is starting to show his true colors.

Edit: Heh, if the Eagles can't capitalize on this turnover, ESPN/SI sports writers are going to be overreacting all week.

Local tv coverage in the northwest: oakland vs carolina morning game.

I think the people who want to say the Steelers and Big Ben are a fluke, better think again.

Wee Willie Williams is coming up pretty big for the Stillers. He was usually picked on here in Seattle, but maybe he's being utilized better there (and I would say that he just isn't a good fit for the 'hawks given that he's not as tall enough to match up with a lot of the NFC West receivers; notice that he's on Pinkston a lot rather than TO ).

Yep, the Steelers are showing everyone how to beat the Eagles (much like the Rams showed everyone how to beat the Seahawks w/ late-game deep passes, preferably to whoever Terrell Bierra's covering).

27-3, under 8 mins, looks like the Steelers are finally playing Steeler ball and running the clock out even if it means 3 run plays and punt (although thats not the case considering the Eagles can't seem to stop the run...)

Any comments now, RagingBITCH?

27-3 Steelers.

Looks like the Eagles are the ones getting pwned.

Still not convinced the Steelers are "good"?

Steelers have always been good. They were good last year. They were good the year before. They were good the year before that. They've got a great coach, and an equally great defense. They also have possibly the best WR tandem in the league. Ward/Burress is a great combo for Big Ben to learn with.
