Ilost part of my hearing permanently out of my right ear due to an ear infection. The infection broke after it grew to the size of a large egg 3-4 hours after I saw the doctor, and he the informed me that I don?t need to have it drain because bursting is imminent. It was the most pain that I have endured (worst than a broken leg). I couldn?t walk straight, or see clearly, and the sight of puss & blood coming out of my ear for 2 days didn?t help my morale at all.

Wow. How long did you have the infection before you went to the doctor? I just don't want to go as I don't have insurance right now, and I don't have a lot of money to spend if I can help it. But I would rather not lose my hearing...
