I had it done professionally at a doctor's once...the hearing improvement was incredible. High frequency response especially improved. I need to do it again as I'm having to say "what?" a lot lately. Dunno if I want to mess around with my own ears, even if it is just drops and warm water.
Do you know what the procedure name was? Or did you just ask them to clean out your ears?
I've heard that using Q-tips can actually be the casue of the problem.. because it pushes more back into your ear than it takes out, causing those plugs....Originally posted by: randal
I use q-tips 2x a week, no problems.
That was the best thread I ever read in my life .Originally posted by: shimsham

When my ear was plugged up a while back, I ended up buying H2O2 to get the clog out, the ear wax removal kit simply didn't get any response at all.
It actually 3 or 4 treatments and a week to get the clog out of my ear. It was very annoying.

did you dilute it before pooring into your ears?
that earwax kit contains 8% carbamide peroxide. That's the active ingredient in teeth whitening products. For example Colgate Simply White once a day gel is ~18% carbamide peroxide. I guess it would be just as easy to poor some hydrogen peroxide into your ears, as you did.
