Looks like a Dem House sweep of Philly:

Sestak, L Murphy, Schwartz, P Murphy, Fattah

The Murphy elections are close but they should just make it through now that precinct % is quite high.

Same in Pittsburgh. Melissa Hart got voted out despite having a very high lead going in. One of my political science professors ran on the Green ticket against Doyle (D) and got beat in a landslide. Was upset about that.

Uh no he wouldnt hes entitled to a recount. Its not the same as sueing for a recount. The state automatically has to recount if there is less than 1% difference.

What is interesting is they will be counting all the provisional ballots tomorrow. In any event, it appears VA is likely to determine who is going to control the Senate.

Assuming Missouri goes to the Dems. I'm not sure if I see that happening...

Took til Dec 22nd for the Attorney General last time.

If MO goes to the Dems, it'll probably be decided in the same amount of time as in the 2000 Presidential election. Unfortunately, I can see it going the same way too... lawsuits -> GOP winning.

The Allen campaign is claiming that one of their strong precincts decided to stop counting ballots and go home for the night.

Uh, Montana and Missouri are both looking like they are dem, which means 50-49. VA is going determine control of the Senate. If Webb wins, its 51-49. If Allen wins its 50-50, which Cheney being the tie break. Ultimately the Repubs control in a 50-50 split, but there will be powersharing.

Problem with that is, there are more outstanding democrat precincts than there are republicans.

I recant my statement. That was back when McCaskill was down by 70,000 votes.
