Ken Mehlman said that it was the Washington Post.

Its confirmed, but according to CNN Baltimore, Bethsda(Montgomery County), and Prince George are the outstanding votes, which means Cardin will win, without a recount.

I can't believe the Senate race here in TN is so close. I still think Ford will lose (unfotunately), but for a black man in the south he is doing unbelievable. He might have won if Corcker hadn't pumped that extra $1.3 mil of his own money in last week.

Its all but offical, Webb will win, the remaining votes are coming from Arlington, which is going to split heavily towards Webb. A recount will happen, but it wont likely effect the outcome.

Early reports from Montana has the incumbent repub down so far....

I think the Repubs are gonna keep Missouri and Tennessee...

But that means.....if the Dems take Virginia and perhaps Montana....a split senate with Cheney as the deciding vote :thumbsdown:

50/50 means powersharing. Considering a 50/50 split was unfathomable several months ago. I think the democrats will take it.

I dont know if people outside VA heard about it, but he was caught on video calling an Indian man a Macaca. He insisted he didn't know what that word meant, etc, etc.

Virginia is full of minorities. They took offense and went to the polls.

I honestly have no clue what Webb stands for. All I saw on T.V was a bunch of Allen ADs attacking Webb and "George Allen supports Bush 98% of the time". That is pretty much it.

Although this is local, Lois Murphy and Patrick Murphy are looking competitive; they are ahead now and it appears they might be able to hold off.

Still quite close but after all of the MONEY the RNC dumped into the Philly market with ads, if the Dems sweep the house seats (Sestak has already won) = wow!!

This will p!ss Cheney off: he'll have to break away from flyfishing, hiding in underground bunkers and what not and be flown in to Washington constantly to break ties.
