Recently I bought 2.1 speaker system from Logitech (X-210).
Problem lies in a sad fact that this speakers do not amplify sound when
earphones are connected (in my case, Sennheiser HD201), they just provide a direct access to a soundcard.
On my previous speakers I was able to boost earphones volume through
their volume control.
Sound card is integrated on Gigabyte P965-DS3 (Realtek High definition audio)
People are telling me that PCI soundcard (like Audigy for instance) would solve my problem because it has an amplified audio-out for earphones, but my question is
is there any way to boost volume in earphones when they are connected to an integrated sound card?
(of course, in Windows sound settings, volume is already set at maximum, but it is unfortunately far from enough, it's too silent ..)
Tnx.
