A minor earthquake occurred at 3:46:15 PM (PST) on Friday, February 23, 2007.
The magnitude 3.4 event occurred 3 km (2 miles) ESE of Berkeley, CA.

That one in Berkeley I felt too, and I was in the exact same place (Berkeley!), in front of my 19" LCD. This one felt stronger, I think. The thought always hits: "could this be the big one?"

Well, the USGS site in the link doesn't have it yet.

OK, 4.3. That makes it about 8x bigger than the one a week ago in terms of energy released. Are we in a swarm? Statistics say we are at hightened risk for a large quake if that's the case. Still unlikely, but not as unlikely.

I am located 7 miles north of the epicenter of the one that just happened (Martinez).... the whole house shook pretty violently at one point... SCARY!

Well, I'm in Berkeley and believe me, it was alarming (2/23)! I found one of the doors to my crawlspace open after that and I think it was the quake that did that. Hope an animal didn't crawl inside.
