Haha.. was in the market looking at a dead crab upside down. I turned around to look at some fish and when I looked back at the crab, it was rocking around. I was like wtf!
Then saw the isle signs moving around

<--- In San Diego

I was sitting in a rental car with my co-worker. We thought someone had walked up behind us and was shaking the car.

I was at the table eating bbq with family. It wasn't big but lasted kinda long as far as quakes go but I was far away from it here in LA.

In an orange county here. The house was swaying back and forth. I was in the kitchen making spring rolls and continued to do so during the quake. It wasn't that bad to make me duck and cover. I did feel a little dizzy. It was a long qone. Surprisingly the dogs didn't bark.

All those reports on the news about people stuck in elevators are not true! My family friend who is city manager says elevators auto shut down during earthquakes for safety reasons. They don't want elevators to continue to operate while an earthquake is happening. So it wasn't like the earthquake was so bad it destroyed the elevators.

So you're saying the stories about people being stuck in elevators isn't true because the elevators are designed to stop with the people inside them during an earthquake? :hmm:

Being in a shutdown elevator with closed doors sounds like being stuck in an elevator to me.
