Not your typical "general hardware" but how come no company has been able to make a consumer earwax vacuum cleaner which actually works?! I mean, how difficult from a technical point is it to make something like this.. you need to know the proper suction power obvously so to not damage ears, but in this age of gadgets it surprises me no company has come up with a quality consumer tool like this that works.

Yes, i know there is this "seen on tv" earwax vacuum cleaner, but it doesn't seem to do anything if you look for reviews on amazon for example.

So why hasn't a proper working one been invented yet? It's annoying having to go to the ENT doctor for that every time.

That's some kind of liquid you have to put in your ears. Not a big fan of that.

I'm looking for a working mini vacuum cleaner that is ok to use in your ears.

The difference is the ENT is trained on using his machine and he is looking in your ear at the same time. So , see's where he is putting the suction - it doesn't just suction out the whole ear at the same time - that would damage your Ear drum.

So, your worried about putting a liquid in your ear that would soften out the ear wax so it "sluffs" off the walls of your outer ear with gentle washing?

I've tried liquids in my ears but it simply doesn't work for me.

So nobody knows of any tool that uses suction power which actually works? Why hasn't this been invented yet?

Is your problem actually wax? My mom has to go the ENT every 4 months or so as she gets this excessive skin growth in her ears which makes her almost deaf. He doesn't use a vacuum cleaner, just some sort of pick instrument.

If wax is your problem, have you tried the elephant ear washer? It's basically a spray bottle with attachment, it works pretty well in my experience, better than those ear drop+bulb kits.

I just have them clean my ears annually when I do my physical. They have a water gun that looks like a chrome Uzi. It cleans me out so good that I have to sit in my car for 15 minutes because even the rustling of my shirt becomes so loud that I can't stand it

I haven't found anything that is better than that, unfortunately. My doctor said I could do it myself at home using hydrogen peroxide, but eh, I'll just wait for my next physical

Hate to say this, but I just use a pen cap. Works fine...amazing what you scoop out of there.
