East coasters, I need your suggestions

Flying into La Guardia and staying in Manhattan for 2 days
Driving down to Atlantic City and staying for a day with a stop in Philadelphia
Driving down to Washington DC and staying 3 days visiting museums and history sites.
Driving back to NY.

Is there any place I should check out along the drive? Since we're passing through Baltimore, is there anything to do there? Good eats or sites around the area? I've only been to Manhattan on the north east coast so don't know what else is out there. TIA.

You might wanna check out the Baltimore Harbor area if the weather is nice.

Also, if you are into planes and such, don't forget to check the National Air & Space Museum's Udvar Hazy Center out by Dulles intl. airport.

I was planning on visiting the one on Independence Ave. How much different are the two?

If you are a baseball fan, I'd suggest stopping in for a game at Camden Yards if possible. Very interesting experience.

Lock the doors and roll up your windows. Seriously though if you have any interest in trains the B&O Museum would be a good place to see in Baltimore. There is also Ft McHenry, The National Aquarium, and Harborplace.

I visited the one on Independence Avenue before the new exhibit... If you're downtown and trying to see everything else, it probably isn't worth going all the way out to Dulles. ....but if you have an interest in that stuff, they expanded the new center and keep the space shuttle Enterprise there.

Similarly, if you get a chance to visit Cape Canaveral in FL, they have some cool stuff there too....like the Saturn V and plenty of space center exhibits... Cool stuff.

Besides the MD House and the Chesapeake House...but if you don't count those then there aren't any.

Too bad the Star Wars exhibit at the Franklin Institute ended back on May 4th. It would have given you an excuse to come to Philly.
