Thanks for this post. $9 for 3 years is cheap enough for me. I used to read this back in college when my roomate had a subscription. I kind of missed reading them but I was to cheap to subscribe.

This is a great deal. Makes you wonder how they can print & ship to you so cheap. The last couple of years I singed up a bunch of friends & family as gift subscriptions. Maybe some of them will take the hint to spend a little time educating themselves. Maximum PC has been a wealth of info for me. For all the ones that got this as a gift (no CD included) it still rocks. But, I ante up and make sure that I get my CD.Great post ,Ty Op. :laugh:

I pay a little more to get the MPC with CD version.

I got a subscription to Computer Shopper via a special offer they sent me via email.

I already had a subscription. So, I thought that offer would extend it.

It didn't. They started to send me two of each issue.

On a side note, my PC Magazine subscription just went from expiring in May 05 to May 08, so apparently some of those free mag offers finally came through

Maximum PC is the most entertaining PC magazine. I think the regular subsription is $12 per year for $12 issues. This is one of the few magazines where I always renew.

Yeah, I've gotten nearly every issue since the boot days. I only missed a couple when I didn't renew in time. So I reupped for 3 years this weekend.

I ordered close to 4-5 weeks ago and haven't received anything. I extended a sub of my wives and it still shows as ending in october.....So, we'll see what happens when her next (and final) issue shows up!
