My response? That killing is not an option, it is wrong, it is a false statement of need and "Next question please" as the troll was escorted out.

If you are faced with a situation where someone appears mentally ill and makes comments like that conservative plan was saying, you shouldn't do that.
Outright rejecting their statement as false creates the risk of a negative reaction from that person and now you place other people in danger.
She handled it right.
She acknowledged the persons concern at a high level, her body language and tone conveyed empathy and she shifted the conversation without ignoring concern. Staff made their presence felt while allowing the woman to remain. when the woman tried to speak over AOC, AOC gave visual cues that both acknowledge and let the person know "Ima finish what I'm going to say"
Old cops would call this Verbal Judo back in the day before all the new kids decided to shoot and taser everyone.
