Eating out

I'll usually take my girlfriend out for a nice dinner 1-2 weeks and she'll take me out to dinner too, so it's not all on my end. I figure I eat fairly cheap during the week, and can go out and have a good time on the weekends. It suits me fine. If I wanted to I could eat a lot during the week, I just have no motivation to cook.

The places we go range from nice/expensive to cheap/fun, it really doesn't matter. I don't really think twice about asking her out to dinner and spending money on her as I like the good food too.

My girlfriend and I go out to eat every few weeks because it really does get to be expensive. However, food is one of the few things on which I have no qualms about spending money. I know it doesn't make sense, but I would rather spend 50 bucks on a good meal than new clothes or an upgrade for my computer. I just really like food

People just have different priorities and values. I don't go cheap on food if I've time. It's something I picked up from my dad and his friends. They were wealthy and very frugal with their money except for eating out. Then they spared no expense. They said man must eat to be strong and eating good food was one of the pleasures of living.

i agree...my point is people not prioritizing things over food...like rent and other things that are more important in my opinion. And then they have the balls to b!tch about them not having any money and being broke all the time.
