There's this crappy usb joypad that I came upon while trying to find the 8.99 usb.
It's from the company iSFX and the controller is very funky and weird, but it's usable
and it's only 1.99. All 10 buttons are usable including two shoulder buttons, and it works
with XP and MAC. Enjoy.

Find a review for it, I guess it works on both PC and Mac. It's a 2-yr old product, but a gamepad is a gamepad (and a dirt cheap one this is)...
I could not access the website for the company that made this (http://www.suncominc.com/), so don't know if there's any support. Oh well, who needs support for a $2 gamepad!

Ahhh, that's it. Thanks, still trying to figure out what "B & M" is myself, ah well. Wonder what the shipping on this thing is, I'll try and order one later today and find out.

B&M are makers of baked beans....

also stands for Brick & Mortar, it denotes an actual physical location as opposed to an E-business

Went to EB B&M and found the gamepad (its actually a clear or whitish color -based on the photo on the box). They also had a companion usb 4 button joystick by the same co. Suncom for $1.99 as well.

What's up with the Batarang design? Do they also sell the bat utility belt and bat shark repellant spray?

It's kinda weird that some sites say the joypad retails for $25 or even $50. The controller looks cheaply made, but
man, what a deal for 1.99 though

Did anyone buy one and get it to work with windows? I've read the reviews at the links provided, and I see nothing that suggests it works with windows. Anyway, I picked one up and couldn't get win98 to recognize it.

Didn't your game pad come with a CD of drivers for the controller? I bought one of these but have yet to try it out. Mine came with a CD which I thought had drivers for Windows to use.

Yeah, it came with a cd. All that was on it was a single .inf file. I right clicked and selected "install" but nothing. Also tried pointing to it in the control panel, but still no go. Please let me know if you get it working. I'm probably doing something wrong or maybe mine's just defective.

Well, I plugged mine into the USB port and right away it said Suncom iSFX USB. I didn't need the driver CD at all. I am using Windows XP, however. The thing works okay. For 2 dollars I think I got a fair deal.

Success! Got it working on both win98 and win2000. No drivers/cd required either. And I agree, this is a fair deal. Sorry for spooking anyone away from this deal.

Hey I picked up mine. the d-pad kind of stinks, but for 1.99+tax, i'm happy.

it installed for winXP & winME without the CD fine, but does anyone know of a way to customize the buttons? Any program out there that might work? thx.

Anyone know what happened to the company that sells this product? I can't seem to get their web site to work. www.suncominc.com

And I also can't find any information about the company.

But overall.. for $2.. I got it to plug and play without a hitch on my Win2K machine.

Called the "support" number I found on a review of the pad. A recording said welcome to "Panon (sp?) Electronics"...leave message for etc....

This was apparently a big pad for Mac users. All the reviews I found were from Mac sites.

Still a great price for a gamepad backup.

$5 shipped to WI,....too expensive for a $2 gamepad, which I don't actually need. : ) And it looks ugly. But heck, $2! Good for the people who get it from B&M.

Nice deal!

I gotta ask.. what is the idiots at logitech thinkin? I used to really dig their joysticks due to the ease of use in button placement.. If you have a thumb 5 inches long now you can use them they moved all the buttons off the handle and put em on top.. TOO close to seperately hit the buttons everytime. JUNK. I won't buy another MS joystick because i've broken three of them from overusing??? the buttons hehe.
If i could get used to a joypad i'd get this one. but i'm a stickman.

bump cause i got two of these and think the deal is still alive if u can find one.

I also got joystick from the same company, same price, same quality.

i'll ask again -- is customizing buttons only available in options IN the game? or are there programs where i can customize some buttons to function as F9, ESC, etc. ????
