Plus how much does it cost for subtitles anyways? $.50cents? The listing fees and final sales fees and ebay fees are just way too much.

I think eBay is a big scam. Too much in fees. 5% ebay fees, 3% paypal fees, to top that off you gotta pay the 30cent paypal transaction fee, ebay insertion fees, closing value fees, feature category auction fees. etc etc. Tooo manyy fees. ebay should be called fee bay.

You people complain way too much. The fact is your auctions would not pull the kind of $ they do if eBay did not market themselves as well as they did.

The fees are perfectly reasonable, I feel, for those who actually list auctions. I sold several small-ticket items for about $6 and paid around $1.00 in fees or less. That's less than 20%, quite less than what an auctionhouse would take.

They rape you on the smaller items but on high-price items the eBay take can be less than 5%.

I'm just wondering. Since PP is collecting a 30 cents transaction fee, if you really want to screw someone over, can't you just keep sending 1 penny payment like 100 times? The other person would have to pay $30.

BS.... Ebay owns Paypal who happens to charge another 3%. Try 8%. On a $900 item that would be $72 plus listing fees. EBAY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. They have the biggest profit to expense ratio around. They don't need to charge such high fees. They do because they can..........

They can because they offer a service worth it. I get 10% more on Ebay than on the FS/FT forum, so it evens out.
