Thanks

My last one went for $465. $190 profit.

WTF

I had one on last night 400 450BIN and no bidders.

Oh well. Dec 7-14 = bank

Yes, "A" Wii not several. I'll be even more of a hater if I don't find one for my son by Christmas. I may to the 4am thing. Toys 'R Us says they'll have some tomorrow, but they don't know how many. If you think I'm a hater now, I'll be even more of one if I wait in the cold for hours and still don't get one.

I hate price gougers, but people are buying them from him. It's not like he's hoarding them and keeping them in a closet so your poor, wii-starved children have their Christmas ruined. It was well-known a few months ago when the wii was readily available that it would be selling out again this season. Should have moved faster rather than trying to guilt-trip people using your three children as an excuse months later.

Welcome to America.

Anyone who says selling the Wii for a profit is fair in the name of capitalism, doesnt get to complain about gas prices, health care costs, higher education, or the cost of anything else for that matter. Someones going to pay for it no matter how bad you gouge, it's capitalism baby.

I'm really thinking of picking one up and selling it on ebay. I just hope this doesn't backfire and I make nothing off of it.

Eh, if all else fails, you can return it for a full refund.

how do you find out when stores like TRU are getting shipments in at 6:30?

call them and ask them the following question.

"hey i'm wondering when you will be getting your shipments of Wii's in."

you have to use this thing called a "phone" where you actually talk to another live person on the other end. if you don't know what that is, just google it.

I can tell you from having worked at a TRU during the holidays that the trucks come at random times during the day and that by this time of the season they are getting at least one truck EVERY day... sometimes two. Video games are the first items off the truck so they can be locked away immediately but none of this guarantees that the Wii will be in stock. Oftentimes they hold back a supply they get late in the week to comply with having a few in stock for the Sunday circulars. However, most stores will sell most of theirs off immediately, as having them sit around, even locked up, is almost a risk at this time of the season.

But if you ABSOLUTELY want a Wii, your best bet is to visit every store that might carry them on the way to and from work and ask. (ignore signs that might say they are out of stock.) Also, religiously check the major internet sites for them. (amazon, et al.) DO NOT just call the store. They probably get 100 calls a day asking if it's in stock and they've probably been told to just tell them "No." because they are not going to hold a hot item like that this time of the year and they don't want someone furious 2 hours later when they finally show up. They want the money and the first person to give it to them is walking out the door with a Wii.

Maybe you should consider waking up at 630 on Sunday and go to TRU like he is.

For your information, I have waited in line. I have gotten to stores early. And nothing is there. But since the closest Toys R Us to me is 77 miles, Best Buy is 112 miles, Comp USA is 136 miles and Target is 79 miles. Kind of impossible for me. The only stores I have access to is Wal-mart which there is two of them within 22 miles.

But I stand by what I said earlier, if scalpers wouldn't do this, there would be *enough* consoles. Like take all the Wii's off ebay, and put them back in the stores. There would be *a lot* of happy parents.

Looks to me like he's selling them.

Guess you just don't love your kids as much as someone willing to pay nearly twice as much for a Wii.

now this has nothing to do with scalpers or anything. For you to live in bumblefuck, USA which is that far from these stores is a decision you made.

You're looking at this all wrong.. If there were enough Wiis in the first place, there wouldnt be any scalpers.

HAHAHAHA...

okay... if the scaplers didn't do this, then the people willing to pay $450 for a Wii wouldn't have them... scalpers selling them on eBay doesn't magically create enough of a supply. I don't think scaplers are buying them off of scalpers or something here. You just don't make sense.

Stop being so grumpy that you didn't get one. If you got one, then the next person wouldn't have gotten one... and so on, and so on.
