A seller i've been dealing with for the past couple of weeks definitely should have a neutral or negative feedback comment left from me, but it seems like there's a good chance i'd end up getting a revenge feedback of the same kind, even though i don't deserve one, as i paid right away and didn't do anything else out of the ordinary. But, people will be people. So i wonder if it would be worth it to give a negative in exchange for a negative. The guy has quite good feedback, somewhere around 300, 98% positives. I'm around 60 feedback on ebay, 100% positive.
Though if everyone feared feedback retaliation then there would hardly be any negatives/neutrals left, and that wouldn't be helpful to anyone looking at the other person's feedback, while considering to buy from the person.
So i think it is my duty as an ebayer to leave bad feedback for this seller, people should know the seller takes forever to ship things. The seller isn't really terrible, but worthy of a neg.
I think people also often give positive feedback just to maybe receive positive feedback in return themselves, even though they weren't necessarily pleased with the seller.
