It works on any item as long as you are logged into live cashback and go through their 30% off link first. The green "30% cashback" logo should stay with you through the checkout process right up until you press the purchase button.

As long as you pay by Paypal it should be eligible. If you pick a listing that says "Immediate Payment Required," then it will show the cashback dollar amount you will be receiving before you finalize the purchase and send the Paypal payment. Since immediate payment is required, you don't actually commit to buying anything until you pay with Paypal, so you can click the buy it now button without committing to buy it.
