Yeah, next time something like this happens, go the 2nd chance route before you go ahead and list it again.

You clearly had the shipping cost on your auction page. He's just another moron that bids before reading the whole auction. I read that page he put up and started laughing, what a moron he is.

Your Shipping price is a scam I would rather lose a couple dollars on shipping than have a buyer feel scammed.

I just checked that same package (28lbs) shipped form Oregon to New York via FedEx ground insured for $550 and the total was $35.13

""Fixed shipping and handling fee of $50.95 is applicable. Insurance is mandatory at $5 to insure up to the value of the package"" BTW, this would read better if you stated Shipping is $50.95 - (Insurance is included in the shipping price)

Even though your price does suck it does not give a user the right to not pay.

Ebay should have to remove the feedback..

It's not a scam. It's a higher-than-normal shipping (+handling) fee. He can charge whatever he wants. It's up to the bidder to decide to bid or not. The shipping price was posted rather clearly and this falls as entirely under the fault of the bidder. If he thinks the shipping costs are inflated, he can report the seller to ebay under a policy violation before bidding.

You conveniently left out the rest of my post

i feel your pain.

i have a deadbeat bidder too, on my seventh day now and I can request my final value fees. and with me... i saw those were bidding on my items, but at the last minutes, some new bidder comes with no feedback to bid for my item. I'm going to get my final value fee... but do you guys think its too late for second chance offer (it's been 7 days).

Because I was addressing the bit where you said it was a scam. It's not a scam. As for the bit about what ebay should or should not "have" to do, I'll chalk that one up to your not thinking things through.

If you'd have preferred I further separate my paragraph to say "Ok, I'm not talking about this guy's post anymore" I'd be happy to go back and do that.
