Sometimes people just run into supply issues though or they get into an accident and they "disappear" for a bit. I've seen power sellers with 3k+ feedback just go wham in a month and die.... It's sad. Happened to me when I was buying a book ><

I dunno on this.. I think he's a scammer. One guy listed that it was his first ebay purchase. I would be a safe bet that his paypal is new, and should ask sellers if they want to accept payments from them. Someone has to be on the receiving end accepting payments.

Granted I don't sell much stuff on ebay and don't know all the rules with paypal but 1 out of 3 payments I have to hit accept on.

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago when I was looking for a digital camera for my sister. Bought one from a Power Seller that had near 1000 positive feedback. Only had a couple of negatives out of the hundreds of transactions he did. Two days after I won the camera every feedback was negative....a couple of hundred of them...just like the one in the OP. eBay sent out an email to everyone he jilted saying they had contacted the FBI and I had all my money refunded.
