I don't know about anyone else here but I would be wary if some writes this into their auction, "Due to high demand, item may take 3-4 weeks to arrive."

I doubt a supposed guy who might be dead can leave negative feedback on 12/5 and then on 12/8 to other members.

I'm guessing those auctions that were fake happened within the span of just couple of days. Negative feedback usually happens 2-3 weeks after the end of the auction.

Another possibility is that the account was comprimised while the real seller was out on vacation. Imagine coming back home from the bahamas to find your ebay account in this condition lol.

That's a possibility too. Lady I just bought something from on eBay was telling me how someone hacked her account when she used the wireless network at some hotel she was staying at on a vacation. Someone started putting up dozens of high-end items (like boats) for sell under her account. She didn't realize something was going on until she received an email from someone asking her how she could ship a boat internationally for free. :laugh:

eBay's Fraud Department eventually contacted her and they got everything straightened out.
