ebay problem

this guy is willing to give me a great deal on entire DJ setup however he has zero feedback and has the shade icon by his name. I want to pay him through paypal instant funds. Is there a way I can hold the money until I verify that the items have been received? If not, any other suggestions? I really want this, the price is awesome

the problem with escrow is time. the length between shipping and getting positive confirmation from the buyer is LONG...and when it's your money on the line, theres too many variables that can hold you up from getting paid. its not particularly the best idea for sellers.

No, using Paypal there is no way. The only time I was ever burned on Ebay was when I bid on something and the seller had no feedback.

Will he supply you with his home phone number and full address? Is he using Yahoo or other email address that might be canceled with no easy way to trace? Verify and ask questions. If he is legit he will provide you with verifiable answers.

Use some common sense here.
