It's not 40% off. It's 20% off the amount discounted by another 20%. So a $100 dollar purchase would cost you $64 as opposed to $60 (had it been a "true" 40% off).

I'm also kind of suspicious about M$N Wallet. What are the disadvantages associated with that, as far as you guys know?

100 * .80 * .75 = 60.
