It's not bad, it's pretty good. Like I said earlier, for a cheap system they get the job done.

The biggest drawback to this deal is shipping, They ship them via USPS Parcel post. I live in Florida and takes about 11 days for the cases to get here.
Really? I received the tracking information for both cases that I ordered and they were both sent via UPS Ground. UPS Ground isn't the best, but it's much better than USPS Parcel post. I'm surprised that they'd send something that size and weight via Parcel post. It's not a very good option.

i ordered 2 JNC cases. 1st one (JNC 4JA8861) was ordered on thursday and i already have the tracking info (UPS ground).

the other (JNC H7650-2 Black/Silver) was ordered on saturday night. since i live in CA shipping shouldn't take that long at all. for this price, and if they're not too shabby i'll be ordering all my budget cases from them. these appear to beat the hell out of fry's $29 cases. i would never stick my watercooling and overclocked hardware in there, but for all my friends and family these should do fine.

pigseye2:

JNC H7650-2 Black/Silver Mid Tower Case W/ 300 Watt & Front USB

does this case have a power/reset button on the top near what looks like a handle? and is that a top blow hole or vent under that handle? can you actually lift the thing up with that handle? thanks in advance for the info!

If you are creating a nice P4 HT system, do not use this case! If you are taking advantage of the Fry's 1.6Duran+Mobo this is the best low-cost solution. I have two of these and they are great for Grandma's screemin email machine etc... Mine came in 4 Business days (Out of AZ) and the whole case and PS was about as heavey as my Antec 450W dual fan PS by itself. But the thing actually does work.

Hi Kenrippy,
I'm almost positive it has the handle, and switches on the top since my case looks almost exactly like this one except mine came with a blue LED fan on the side. I really don't like the setup to much but my kids think it's neat.

Yes you can lift it with the handle and it seeems plenty strong but I don't have a lot of stuff in it either. If you were going to fill the case with water cooling equipment I would probably be a little careful.

As I recall (I'm not at home) I think it does have vents under the handle so you could add a fan and treat it like a blowhole.

One last note, for some reason my front USB ports don't work. I don't know why, I've probably hooked it up
wrong but I'll check later this week.

Hope that helps,
Pigseye

Edit:
Sorry guys, the case I have is this one:

JNC RJAH7650-3 Midtower 300w USB Front, Side Fan Panel w/Blue Led

Edit 2: Bad link just search for the case model above in Ebuyer and you'l find it.

As you can see there is a side LED fan but other than that it is essentially the same case.

Hi Ken,
Yup that's it. The spaceship on the side is kind of fugly but my 5 year old daughter thinks it's cool. Good enough for me since it's ehr machine.

Actually not a bad little case for the money, but I think I only paid $25 when this model was on sale.

I might take the spaceship off the side someday and install a window instead. Heck, they already cut a port hold for me!

Good luck
Pigseye

p.s. I'll edit out my link.

Wow.. Is that computer case turbine powered?

What's the deal with the thingy on the top of the JNC H7650-2 Black/Silver? What is that on the top of the case? A funky fan port? Good luck putting anything on top of your case.

How loud are these cheap cases? Last cheap case I bought for under $50 was/is sooo damn loud. Instead of building a computer out of it for my parents I turned it into a file server but had to put it in a room where the sound wouldn't matter.

I currently have a similar caliber case for a cheap system. It's not that bad. I had another cheap case and the psu fan got really noisy, so I replaced it. Is this what you were referring to? The PSU fan? I pretty much swap out the fans on all of my power supplies because none of them are quiet enough for my tastes.

JUNK!! I just received my two cases last week. The one is super ugly. They described it as silver, but there is very little silver on it. It's basically a silver, brown, beige and gold case. I've seen cheap cases, but these cases are CHEAP!! My 300w Antec power supply probably weighs more than both the cases and power supplies put together. I just regret that I bought 2 cases now because it isn't worth it to ship them back. I created an RMA, but UPS Ground (cheapest I would figure) goes by dimension weight (21 lbs on one case even though it probably doesn't even weight 10 lbs) on this package instead of weight and I'd be stuck paying $22 in shipping for both cases, plus any restocking fees at 20%. The one case is damaged, so I could probably save the $4 for a restocking fee right there, but I'd be returning the other case because it's butt ugly and cheap, so I'd probably be hit by a restocking fee. If I got hit with restocking on both cases, it would basically cost me $30 with shipping and restocking fees to get $38 back. Doesn't really make sense, does it?

After I decided not to ship the cases back, I just wanted a replacement panel for one of the cases that was delivered damaged. It wasn't shipping damage, but more of a QC issue regarding missing paint on one of the side panels. I called them back and they said that they'd have to return the damaged product back first before they replaced anything. All I need is the side panel on one of the cases because it's missing some paint. I am NOT going to pay $12 more shipping just to get an undamaged side panel. I guess I should try calling them back and see if I can send just the panel back.

I feel like I totally wasted my time and money. I should've just spent a few extra bucks and gotten a decent case in the first place. I feel ripped off because these cases aren't even worth shipping as far as I'm concerned. I thought that I was getting a deal and I don't even think I got what I paid for. Now, I have no idea what to do because I'm fearful of hooking up anything to this power supply. I don't want to kill any hardware with it.

Thanks for listening..

Sal

PS.. I hope someone reads this that is considering buying from Ebuyer, so they don't make the same mistake that I did.

Wow, I'm sorry Salvador.

I didn't think the cases were that bad and I've been through a lot of cases too. They are cheap, but for $20 shipped to your door I had very low expectations. I wasn't disappointed when I got them and now that 2 are in use running ECS K7S5A motherboards without any issues, I'm actually pretty happy with them.

I do admit one of the cases I have is quite ugly which is probably the same as your funky brown and gold one. But it's for my parents and they don't care.

The other case I've already cut a window, modified the front panel and prepped it for painting. I'm also going to add a 3" plasma globe to the front for humor. This one will become my daughters Kim Possible PC. It's actually turning out pretty nice. I'll post a pic of it when it's complete.

Sal, I'm sorry your experience was so poor. Hopefully you can salvage something out of these cases by selling them locally or using them for less critical PC applications.

Good Luck,
Pigseye

Should I really trust these power supplies with my hardware? I have another power supply made by Allied that I bought from Microcenter for $15 and it seems like twice the power supply that these cases have. I thought that the $15 power supply was cheap... Heh

I guess I can live with the cheapness of the cases and power supplies, but what pisses me off is that in order to get a replacement panel for one of my cases that came with chipped off paint on the side panel, I have to ship the whole case back. I figure that it's about $12 that I'm not about to waste. I wish that they'd just let me send back the side panel for an exchange. The rest of the case looks fine. Actually, other than the cheapness, the case looks all right. I'll probably throw my $15 power supply in it and use this case. I might turn the other one into a bird feeder. Naww.. I'd better not do that. I think it would scare the animals away because it's so ugly.

Sal, regarding the power supplies (Maxima) brand, I have one hooked to an Nforce 2 board with a 1700+ @2GHz and it is working fine. This is with one HDD and two optical drives.... All the voltage rails look very stable in the bios. I have had this running for about a month now without a single problem.

I have another Maxima PSU that I use to test older hardware with that I buy and it has been working great too.

Thanks guys for the information. By the looks of these power supplies, I didn't know whether to trust them or not with ANY hardware.

I have three of the JNC H7650 cases, all were shipped via Airborne from Ebuyer. I had an incident involving a broken bezel with my first order and they RMA'd be a replacement within 3 days-very friendly & prompt CS staff there, I must say. These cases are nothing at all to get excited about but they are about on par with the cheap Foxconns at Newegg or some of the cheaper CompGeeks cases. I have two PIIIs (one a 700@933 and another non-overclocked 1ghz) in these cases and they are fine for general home users-no PS problems yet and airflow seems adequate in the case. Do note that the side panels are *very* flimsy and wobbly. The third case is running a Duron 800 for a college student who likes the case's light weight and handle so he can carry it home during vacations.

So I got my new case today, got her all plugged in and *POP* -- Huge flash from the PS area and everything went dead. I think I got a retard powersupply. I tried another PS and luckily it didn't fry anything else in the computer. Just a heads up! Although I am not complaining, 16.99 shipped for just a case is a steal! It even had a slide out motherboard tray.

Just kidding, I'm sure these are fine for basic systems.

What case did you get with the slide out MB tray?
I would like to get one even with the poor PS.

Thanks
