This is by far the best price I've seen even with tax. Is it best to stay with two cards of the same brand for an SLI setup or does it not matter. I already have a BFG.

You can mix different brands of the same card for SLI. I think when SLI originally came out in 2004 brand mattered, but now it does not.

This is $30 cheaper... UGG.

Mine is evga and higher clocks at least... also smaller MIR... but still, it hurts.

What a great deal. I think I'll wait for the 48XX series from ATi though. Should drive prices down even more, and I don't really have the need for a card at the moment

Also, the reference cooler on the GTS is "better" in that it is a dual slot cooler that exhausts out the rear.

Wow! Was it still within the nominal 90 days from date on check? Hopefully I don't have this problem... I'm waiting on a $50 rebate check for my 8800GT.
