That's a pretty nice deal, especially since it has a couple of USB 3.0 ports on the back. Only 2 SATA ports is a bit of a bummer, though.

I have this board.

It is very slow for web browsing (when I tested with Linux Mint Chromium was much better than Firefox though)

Have been thinking of making it into a router via Intel dual NIC card.

P.S. Glad to see it comes with a free wifi card now (for people that need that). Back when I purchased this was not included.

I'm interested in an AMD ITX build to rejuvenate an HP Slimline S3000n I have, but SoC just annoys me to no end. I really want an upgradable CPU socket to jam whatever I darn well please into it.

I kind of wish I had picked up a few more of those 1037U mini-ITX ECS boards when they were $40 + ship. Those aren't bad, performance-wise.

For a router I think this board would be good.

I use a j1800 based board for my pfsense router with an intel dual LAN card. It works great. Never needs a reboot. I think this board would be good for this purpose too. It is a less powerful cpu but my cpu usage is minimal on my router. I run it off of an 2GB usb stick.
