Oh yeah, what's up! I've got my MAIN machine here running a Athlon XP 2400+ mobile chip running at 2.2GHz on a K7S5A rev 3.1 board. No extra voltage mod, but I can show you if you need a little more juice. Anyway, this bad boy is running rock stable with 3 hard drives, 1GB of memory, a 6800GT, TV tuner (Hauppauge 250MCE), Promise ATA controller, Creative Live! card (yeah, it's an old ass card), and cold cathode tubes. This thing plays Doom3, HL2 and Far Cry great and like I said, it's solid as a rock! But I'm gonna need to upgrade next year as this thing is about as good as it's gonna get right now.
Manchurian, you're going to have to look on your board and find the revision number. And like Budman said, get the latest cheepo BIOS, and try your shot at overclocking. Just a word of warning, you're going to have a 99% failure rate at hitting 166MHz FSB or higher, so keep it under 166. But I highly doubt you're going to get anything close to that without a voltage mod with the processor you have. Sorry.
