Mine arrived today and the front of the box reads Celeron 847.

It also did include the Azurewave AW-NE139H b/g/n half-size mini pci-e wi-fi card.

P.S. It is out of stock now, but I am hoping Newegg will restock again like they did during the ECS KBN-I/2100 sale.

I don't have any applications that require "thin" mini-ITX, and I don't have SO-DIMMs laying around, so I'm probably going to pass on this, but it does seem like a pretty decent deal.

I'm starting to think it is kind of dumb that mini-ITX doesnt match the ~4" hole spacing of VESA C because it would be awfully nice to simply mount one of these onto the back of a monitor without spending money on a case that costs more than the motherboard and cpu combined.

Does anyone know what type of DC adapter it uses? I checked the manufacturer site and manual and there's no voltage or polarity specification.

look at the questions and answers at newegg. Some funny stuff, but what you seek is there.

Mine works with a 90W Dell adapter for D and E series laptops; might also work with a 65W but I haven't tried it yet. Even under heavy load, the 90W barely gets warm. This is with 8GB RAM and an SSD though; if you add drives etc. you might need more. I believe the Dell uses 19.5V with center being positive. You can find these on CL for $10-20.

Agreed. That is a great idea especially on a thin-mini itx board with mSATA.

Can't link because it's ebay but there is a nice slim case available that this will fit in perfectly. At or around $60 shipped. Look for iw-k1. Has space for a laptop DVD, 2.5" HDD, and includes the correct powersupply and 120W to boot.

Also available at Directron with the optional monitor mount for $80 + S&H. http://www.directron.com/iwk1standard.html

Yes, the Q and A has some answers:

120W or higher is recommended. Recommended power jack type: Singatron 2DC1003-000211F or equivalent. Original ECS -TI motherboards were based on Intel refernce specification. The power connection has remained the same." We're not allowed to post links but if you do a search for "Singatron 2DC1003-000211F" the top result is an Intel page with more information about the appropriate adapter.

i own a Rosewill RMNA-11001 powah adaptah(N82E16834990455). tip #10 fits & iz used fo HP's & Compaq's. accordin to apindix 1 in de manual of dis adaptah, da outah diameter of dis tip iz 7.4mm & de innah diameter iz 5.0mm. i also measured it & dis looked gud. da mutherboard needs 19V to wurk. dis powah adapter outputs difrent voltages based on da tip dat iz used. dis tip (#10) will give out da 19V dat it needs. i'm planin on usin de adaptah fo da board & use a difrent powah source fo de dwives but dat will be difrent based on what iz in da computah dat iz built. da powah adaptah gives up to 90W of powah(4.74A@19V). it luks like just behind da powah adaptah jack on de board, dere iz two exposed twaces dat you could solder somethin to give mo powah to de system or take sum o de 90W & convert it to a difrent voltage. dis can be seen in pikchah numbah tree. dis would likely void da warranty doh. hope dis helps. peace out!

Antec NP90 Universal 90W Notebook Power Adapter 19V only

In accordance with what Wii Man wrote and despite what the manufacturer says, I've found that a replacement adapter for an HP DV7 laptop with an output of 19V-4.74A-90W, an outer diameter of 7.4mm, and an inner diameter of 5.0mm works perfectly for me. I only have a 2.5" sata drive, a slim DVD drive, an msata, and an 80mm case fan connected though. If you have similarly modest power needs, you can pick up an adapter for under $10 by looking for B003U8K68A in the large South American river that is home to piranhas and Inia geoffrensis.

The Rosewill RMNA-11001 power adapter and Antec NP90 are around $30 and $35 repectively, but the last recommendation can be found for under $10 (shipping included):

http://www.amazon.com/DV7-3060US-dv7.../dp/B003U8K68A
(Several reviewers do say the AC adapter gets rather hot though)

Does anyone have recommendations for the best budget brand AC adapter that works with HP DV7? Or maybe a 120 watt unit?
