Edimax Ew-7128g Crashes Computer

I have a Dell Studio 540 Desktop, with Windows 7 on it, and when I put in the Edimax Ew-7128g it crashes my computer, I get a bsod (not fast enough to get the error, but I will if it's important.) It appears to be a driver based issue.

It does not happen when I first put the card in the computer it loads, but when I install the drivers and restart it crashes and gives me a bsod a few times before it loads into windows, and I get no wifi.

I'm confused as to what the issue can be. Are there newer drivers? I got the drivers from the Edimax site.

Are there any other drivers I can try?

I installed many of these and never had a problem.

Make sure that the Edimax utility is not installed too and it is on together with the Windows Utility (WLAN).

I installed it without the edimax utility at first, and then with the utility, I downloaded the drivers that are listed on the site yet still had the issue.

Just an update if anyone has the same problem. I had to install the older version of the driver, the windows Vista driver, and had no choice but to install the utility with it (It won't install without the utility), but it doesn't crash now.
