I just got off the phone with the AAFES computer guy. They can't remove the $119 training fee, Dell won't let them. Those of you that got it got lucky, they fixed the online error.

Did he mention which rebate form to use? There is a link to the Dell HOME rebates on the order options list and there is also alinh to the employee purchase rebate page on the main order page.

They go to two different addresses.

I don't know. Over at FW there are advocates for each rebate as being the "right" one. Both sides seem convinced that they are right. I am going to wait until mine arrives (UPS tracking says 1/26) and see if it says on the packing slip. The last Dell computer I purchased had a url on the slip and I went with that one.

saw that post. it says $291. It doesnt mention the $100 rebate....which makes the deal $191 which still aint bad. At the least the topic title has been changed to reflect that. My point though .... is that there is now no mention of any training fee when you put the thing in your cart. Not that you can't "uncheck" it, but now there isn't anything at all about it.
