Not bad for no rebate, but tax kills the deal.
At Newegg it's $250 after $40 rebate.
So it's a toss-up between paying tax or waiting for a rebate.
$250 AR for 8800GTS at NewEgg

Yeah, but evga won't honor warranty unless you bought it from authorized reseller. Of course they will honor if you bought if from newegg, but overall, if they want to fvsk the customer on warranty, well fvsk them too.

Yep, I have a thread goin about all the rebates over at the egg. I was all over the overclocked XFX model like a cheap suit.
To the guy with the 640 meg deal: isn't the increased memory largely irrelevant? I hear you never see the gains unless you run insane ass resolutions beyond 1600x1200. AT recommends it for anything under 2560x1600 with 4xAA: Text
Cliffs: unless you have a 30" panel, get the 320. If you do have a 30" panel, price is obviously not a factor.

anyone that owns a 24inch monitor would not want to get this card over the 640mb variant if they like to enable AA. Enabling AA at 1920x1200 destroys this 320mb card, >30fps decrease at times. I would said the extra 70 or so to make it more future proof would def be a good investment.
