Broadway Photo is a pretty shady organization. They are one of those shops that will call to "confirm" your order, and unless you choose to buy a bunch of extras your product will magically be out-of-stock and they will not sell it to you.

If you do not also buy incredibly inflated accessories and warranties they will hang up on you. They also charge 5x the actual shipping charge. These places WILL NOT sell you the camera's at this price. WILL NOT. They will try and get you to buy accesories that are extremely overpriced and if you say no they will magically be out of stock. OR, they will charge $80-$200 shipping.

Dont believe me? Read the photo.net camera store recommendations located here. There are very few reputable NY mail order camera shops. Read up on them and learn. In the case of broadway, let my cut/paste the photo.net titles (only!):

Perhaps, but the CSRs at AMEX refuse to buy it. I told them severla times that this PM will not be a full retail camera. Their response? If the ad says X, then X it is. Let your conscience be your guide, mine was and now I have several free digicams.

I just got a G2 from dell for about 689 dollars yesterday including shippng. Better than amex price.

They try to scam you into their expensive accessories. And if you choose not to buy them, they hang up on you or say it is out of stock.

But do you know how they make those prices in first place?

Here are the facts:
