5,260 now.

Shred has returned the account, but I feel that he should keep them. He has crunched them...and SETI lets you take them with you. Good Luck Shred.

Well, there is an account on your team right now that was on our team for a long time with a substantial number of WU's, with 16826 WU's to it's credit to be exact. Were it not for that we would have had a reasonable lead before this defection.

You win some, you lose some, however, one should always crunch where they feel most at home.

Prepare for an onslaught......as Camelot One is flushing...and I'm sure the others, like Lazy who have been bagging, will let them fly also.

I guess some teams ( BBR ) will do anything to win..... I like the way they say to this (Benidict), as He calls himself, " Welcome Home " and this person has never been on there team. Hope Seti2 is Different..................... :disgust: :frown:

I have my DSL up and running now.
I had 1870 from a year or so ago.
I now have 111.
I will add 2 or three more machines and start crunching again.

I think the one machine I have online is doing 1 wu in a little over 3 hours.

Yes, in BOINC you're credited to the team you're on then returning a wu, so you can't remove these team-credits. Oh, and your own stats is independent of you belonging on a team or not, so you'll never lose anything by being part of a team.

Well, yesterday's seti-v2.19 was missing a dll so immediately crashed, todays v2.20 makes the old v2.66-seti@home-client look FAST...
So don't expect BOINC to be released this month atleast...

>You know exactly how you would have felt!

I've said this before there's an honorable way and a coward way to do it.

The honorable way to do it is to come forward, hold your head up high and say your going to another team but that your leaving the whatever you crunched with the team.

The cowards way out is after participating with the Team for all this time you low blow them by high tailing out the back door with part of the teams "work" and leaving an F U note saying "you never liked the team anyway".

Dispicable Coward...

Sorry but it just boils me when I see things like this.

I'm the "bum" that switched teams. I checked over here on the hunch that I may have been mentioned.

I honestly didn't know exactly how close the gap between BBR and Anandtech was, as I really haven't been paying any attention. I switched teams merely because I felt I owed it to BBR since I frequent there and rarely, if ever, visit anandtech. I didn't think switching teams would have much impact -- I was obviously wrong in that assumption, and I apologize for it.

I'm creating a new account for Team Starfire. My old account, with all the workunits completed since I first started crunching for SETI, will be transferred back to TA.

ShredNine...thanks for clarification. I (speaking for myself) would rather you keep them there as I would much rather have a dedicated TeAmmate than WU's anyday.

Go TeAm!

TA - you're wrong on this one. Shrednine did nothing to incur your wrath.
It's actually a tad embarrassing. Shades of Arcana. Shame on you.

patrick.

Well, no it's not embarrassing. If BBR had saw a thread titled "BBR Defector", they would have reacted the same. I have told Shrednine good luck and I hope he enjoys his new team. I would (IMO) prefer a dedicated TeAmmate. Hollow WU's are just that..........

I respect his right to want to go to BBR because of the enjoyment he (she?) gets from there....but the Billboard Thread....well, that's another story. It just hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. Apology to Shred. Happy Crunching at BBR.

Good Luck Shred. Now back to crunching TeAm......we have more ground to make up.

More in 04!

I agree 100%...and actually, I would rather him enjoy them there than leave them here.

Back to Crunching TeAm.....

More in 04!!!

Edit: Time to get back to Rally thread....theme here has changed.

Smoke's rally thread![/L]

Thanks to all the great TeAmmates...and an apology for "tired" frustration on my part. 150 hours of work in 2 weeks does that sometimes...just ask my wife! :Q
