I don't see why not. And if it doesn't... umm... work... Send it back within the 90 days. Outpost hasn't let me down yet... Well... Once, when they sent me the last 2 sticks of Rambus, and one didn't work. Couldn't RMA to Outpost, cuz they didn't have anymore, though they were willing to refund. Corsair took care of me tho.

i did this deal at b&m store 2 days ago.
there is a sticker on it saying Legacy Electronics.
all mem chips have nothing on them but
something like 64M x DDR...
i dont overclock so i dont know anything about that.

Actually, I just found out the item numbers are the same, and posted my find in Fry's ad thread. I highly doubt a company would sell the same item, with different return policies.

I'm pretty new to this hot deal forum, but it seems like 512 mcb of PC2700 ram for only $53 would be better than just warm. Isn't that a pretty good deal? Or is that much of a difference in ram manufacturers?

The 2700 for $53 is only warm because of the generic manufacturing and 90 day warantee. MWave stuff is $56 now, but they back they're own stuff.

just ordered a stick, opted for the overnight delivery which is only $7 and some change.

Gotta love single-digit overnight delivery prices... Only thing I don't like about Outpost.com is they use Airborne Express, which IMHO is at the bottom of the package delivery totem pole/ratings. Makes for good shipping $$$ though.
