agree the pace is slow - compared to Season 1. Its half the pace - but twice the amount of episodes?

bored of the prick tease lori issue, theyve brought "the big search" in too early. They should've focused on building up a character more before sending her missing

I noticed they didnt spend as long looking for Merle - but maybe thats because he was a gammon slipper?

i havent read anyones thoughts about the 1st series and the blowing up of the research place. They can risk their lives in series 2 to go and get supplies, yet they cant risk their lives in series 1 to get Fuel for the generators?????

I was going easy on the show because I thought there was still time for something, and that they were saving their budget. What the fu*k is this? There have been virtually no zombies, nothing happened in this episode either. They've used the same 3 sets (i.e. forest, highway, farm) for 99% of scenes. And they even decked out a suburban neighbourhood, but spent a whole 5 minutes there.

So, I bought The Walking Dead compendium 1, and I thought the UPS tracking system was kidding when they said the package was over 5 pounds. Yeah, the system wasn't joking, because the book is huge. It's probably about 4 inches thick as well as a bit weighty for a book.

I'll probably just end up trying to find digital versions of them, which will be significantly easier for me to read. I almost would have preferred being able to buy them in a digital format, but I didn't see anything on Amazon for something like that. I'll need to find a good reader for my iPad first!

I much prefer the hardcover volumes, which only collect 12 comics instead of 48. That also means you don't have to wait such a huge amount of time to get new issues. However, it is more expensive to buy them that way.

I'm watching the yesterday's episode now. I just realized I'm annoyed by everyone in the show. I watch it just because of the plot, which hasn't been all that great either.

Glenn: Stereotypical introverted Asian kid, stupid and retarded as hell. Hey LOOK another Asian kid on TV playing the stereotype!

That old guy: Fucking hippie into everyone's business. He really needs to stfu.

Rick & Shane: A couple of stupid ass rednecks, especially Shane. He's way too douchy.

Rick's wife: A redneck whore. It bothers me she fucked Shane so fast after Rick's death. A selfish prick too.

There are only 2 characters that are interesting- The crossbow guy and Maggie. Thank god we finally have a hot chick that's not a redneck.

The abused mommie is annoying, and they are spending too much time on looking for her daughter.

The old guy is but-inski and should really be developed better. He flips around like a fish out of water on everything. Shane? He started off as an angry partner that was getting blue.... blankets, but now he is absolutely evil.


BTW, they teach everyone how to fire a gun.... but where did all those bullets come from? They go into town in a car, and don't bring a siphon kit for gas. They have a barn full of zombies and nobody hears or smells them downwind.....

I don't know. I am still entertained by it, but it is losing a bit of push it had from the first season.
