as classy mentioned above, the entire weapons issue bothers me. Most of the world is dead, the military was deployed but is dead, there has got to be a ton of weapons everywhere.

There are about as many guns in this country as people. In the show it looks like at least 99.99% of the people are dead. So that means there should be at least 10,000 guns lying around for every survivor.

So there are enough guns that they could be making houses out of guns if they want, yet one episode last season they are fighting over a duffel bag of shotguns.

Falling Skies on TNT had the same issue. 95% of humans are dead yet they fight over the few guns that seem to be available.

Yeah, let's see, there's Fort Stewart and Fort Gordon as major Army installations in Georgia, not to mention dozens of National Guard armories and other places.

Like I said, instead, they want to hang on to some beat up fucking Winnebago instead of high tailing it to a military installation and kitting up with all the weapons, ammo, and armored vehicles they can get.

But wouldn't there be a ton of zombies where there are tons of weapons?

Take some random fort. If the military was there they must of had weapons, true. Eventually they got overran with the zombies which means that the guns are on the floor but there are also zombies all around. It would seem to be pretty hard for a small group of people to get those guns when a whole base was overran by that horde of zombies.

Also guns might be easy to find on the ground but not ammo. Maybe a clip or two here and there but most will be on the zombies themselves or in a supply room that, more than likely, already got overrun.

The biggest WTF thing to me is the number of the zombies to begin with. If they tear apart and eat their victims wouldn't there be less of them? Wouldn't there be a point in which the number of the zombies would workout to not help add to the issue? One zombie might bite someone then the victim might run for it and turn later. But say if the victim gets torn apart by like 15 or 20 zombies... wouldn't there be nothing left of them?

But if those zombies are torn in half they wouldn't be standing. Much easier to fight and avoid if necessary.

I hate it when they show the ending first. It gives away to much, even though I figured Shane would do something like that if worse came to worse.
